An evening hosted by Alex and Sydney, founders of The Makers Table, to gather the people who have shaped, supported, and championed this community from the very beginning. The Founders Table is a traditional Makers Table dinner in most ways, except that all the guests have dined with us before, you are the people who have helped build The Table itself—our advocates, collaborators, and friends who continue to make this space possible. This night is a celebration of shared vision, connection, and gratitude among the people who matter most to the heart of our Table.

The Makers Table: Bringing Hospitality Home
"Bringing Hospitality Home" is more than a meal. It’s an exchange of heritage, comfort, and heart.
Each guest is invited to bring something that reflects what home means to them. Be that a family recipe passed down through generations, a tradition that grounds them, or a story, object, or gesture that symbolizes belonging. Together, these offerings create a collective table woven from many cultures, memories, and traditions.
The evening is not just about dining, it’s about honoring where we come from, sharing the rituals that shape us, and discovering the unexpected ways our individual experiences connect. By the end of the night, the table itself becomes a symbol of home — one built through generosity, warmth, and the timeless act of hospitality.

Two philly community generators are teaming up to host an afternoon of creative connection. Join Club Connection and The Makers Table at BOK bar on Saturday 11/1 to catch your breath after a whirlwind of a summer. We’re exchanging ideas, finding new collaborators, and keeping the pressure off. This event is open to anyone, free entry, and pay as you go refreshments at the bar.
We’re excited to welcome anyone who’s curious about our communities to join us for the afternoon, and see what we’re all about. Be sure to invite your most creative and community-building friends!

The Makers Table: Grounded, Live Like You’re Alive—Powered By lululemon
Grounded, A Makers Table Dinner Powered by lululemon is a curated and invite-only wellness experience that brings together a select group of creatives, artists, entrepreneurs, and wellness professionals. At the heart of this gathering is a spirit of collaboration. Each guest is not only invited, but expected to contribute their unique skill, product, or perspective to the evening. These individual contributions are what shape the dinner—transforming it into a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience that can only exist through the collective presence, intention, and participation of those at the table.
Designed to offer wellness professionals the grounding they so often provide for others, the evening is both restorative and creatively energizing. In partnership with lululemon, all 20 guests will be gifted a coordinated outfit upon arrival and invited to change in a private outdoor area—symbolizing a shift in mindset, energy, and purpose as they fully step into the experience.
Grounded is not just a dinner—it’s a shared act of presence, expression, and meaningful connection, made possible by the people who come together to co-create it.

Space Makers is an intimate dinner for Philadelphia’s creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs who shape the cultural fabric of the city through the spaces they build, steward, and share. Whether it's a gallery, café, studio, venue, shop, gathering place—your work holds space for expression, connection, and transformation.
This evening isn't about a physical contribution— it's about bringing your expertise. Around the table, we’ll explore the many layers of space-making:

— Holding space for others while protecting your own
— Navigating growth, burnout, and responsibility
— Sustaining spaces that serve both people and purpose

The Makers Table: Nourish
The Makers Table is a dinner party experience for creatives, artists, makers, and small business owners to foster collaboration and connection. Each dinner focuses on a specific industry or creative niche. For dinner No.7, Nourish, the evening will focus on the wellness industry professionals.
For Nourish, Alex and Sydney are bringing together individuals who are passionate about the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of themselves and others. Together we will collaboratively create an evening that is centered around strength and healing through engaging in movement, practicing powerful self talk, and consuming nourishing whole foods. Creativity can not flourish without nourishing oneself and at The Makers Table we want to emphasize of healthy lifestyle practices.

The MakHERs Table: Women In Hospitality
The Makers Table is a dinner party experience designed for creatives, artists, and makers to come together, collaborate, and connect. Each dinner spotlights a different industry or creative niche. For dinner No.6, we’re focusing on women in the hospitality industry.
This evening is about celebrating how women have carved out meaningful spaces within hospitality. As more women step into leadership roles, their influence is creating more inclusive decision-making and a stronger focus on collective well-being. It’s not just a tribute—it’s a chance to inspire the next generation of women in hospitality and showcase the creativity and strength they bring to the industry.

The Makers Table: In Harmony
The Makers Table is a dinner party experience for creatives, artists, and makers to foster collaboration and connection. Each dinner focuses on a specific industry or creative niche. For dinner No.5, the evening will focus on music industry professionals with a dinner that stimulates all of the senses, that we’re calling In Harmony.
For In Harmony, Alex and Sydney are highlighting the power of collaboration by bringing together chefs, musicians, audio engineers, and more. Each group will be designated a course which all together will create a full menu. Each chef then creates a course based on audio from the songs of the musicians in the group.
By stimulating multiple senses, through food, art, and music, we’re giving collaboration a physicality. Collaboration is usually in the abstract, as a concept, but at In Harmony, it’s experienced through all the senses.
