The wedding industry comes together because of so many people who love hospitality, events, and love.
People who make the flowers bloom, the tables come to life, the rooms transform, the photographs linger, the food becomes a memory, and the impossible somehow becomes possible.
Despite being an industry built on collaboration, it can sometimes feel defined by competition… Closed circles, limited opportunities, and the quiet belief that someone else’s success leaves less room for our own.
We don’t believe that, and in fact, we are fighting against it.
On Tuesday, August 18 at 6 PM, The Makers Table and Garces Group are gathering the people behind the celebrations for an evening rooted in a different kind of possibility: one where there is room for more ideas, more introductions, more creative exchange, and more work moving through the community.
This table is for the planners, florists, photographers, designers, venues, caterers, musicians, makers, and creative partners who bring celebrations to life. This is a night to step away from the production schedule and into the room. To break bread with the people who understand the work. To make a new connection, strengthen an old one, share what we're working on, and leave with the possibility of something that didn't exist before we sat down together.
Because the best work rarely happens in isolation.
The wedding industry is already a collaborative one. So, on a Tuesday evening, when the weekend’s celebrations are behind us and the next ones are still ahead, we're setting the table for the people who make them possible.
